The tutorial I used is from Procreate. The new types of skills I have learned from Procreate tutorials are to fill in the drawing with color by dragging the color from the panel and dropping it in the drawing. The second thing I learned was to tap the picture on a color with my finger to get that color to appear on the panel again.

What I drew on Procreate is a drawing of a girl I created from my imagination. The reason I drew this is because I like cartoons and wanted to create my own cartoon character.

The way she looks like — she is wearing pants with Christmas lights hanging off of them. The red turtleneck sweater with short sleeves, pink bows in her hair to make pigtails, has a light, green arm sleeve on her left arm. The girl is wearing purplish-gray shoes with some brown colored wool around the top of them, which completes the style. To finish off her look, the girl has blonde hair with blue eyes, and a tiny sized mouth. This compliments her light, peach skin, with eyeliner on her eyelashes and pink blush on her cheeks.

The reason why I chose this picture is because the girl is part of my imagination and I think she belongs in Central park, New York city. This is one of my favorite places.

The skills that I have used in Procreate have taught me about layering, distorting, and making a color show up on the color panel when I tap and hold my finger on the color I want to use again. I have enjoyed using this because It teaches me how to draw things on an Ipad.
I believe this has helped me become a better artist because now I am able to have a better understanding from using several different techniques in Procreate.

The program that I have been using is Procreate. Procreate is a way to draw online. It breaks down how to make your drawing move. They give you a step by step guide on how to use different art tools. There are multiple tools and techniques in the program that instruct me to be a better artist. I chose to work with it because I enjoy drawing and would like to learn how to create my own cartoon. I think this will help me in my future goal of being an artist. I learned how to draw on an iPad and make drawing animated, learned the layers of animated art and how to use many tools. I learned how to draw flowers on Procreate, learned how to animate the drawing, and made the leaves on the flowers move. I have also been working on drawing a garden and have been using many of the different brushes to create flowers and buildings.

The reason I took this class is to be able to 3d print objects because I love to make things. I am creative and love to show off my creativity. Creativity and drawing are my strongest skills. This will help me by allowing me to express myself and help people with my creativity. My favorite part so far has been making a Christmas ornament and 3D printing miniature furniture. The thing that will be the most challenging for me is taking the ideas I have in my head and making them into a digital design that can be printed.
